Exciting News!
Join us for off-leash pack hikes, where your furry friend can unleash their inner explorer. They will enjoy an hour of frolicking, tail-wagging socialization, and a whole lot of fun with an experienced & reliable pack leader. Treat your pup to an adventure they'll wag about for days.
Keep your dog fit and healthy with plenty of running, jumping, sniffing and exploring in nature. Give them a break from being cooped up indoors all day.
Allow your pup to interact with other dogs, helping them develop great social skills and confidence.
New sights, sounds, and smells provide mental challenges that keep your dog engaged, curious & healthy.
A good hike helps reduce anxiety and boredom, leading to a happier and more relaxed pet.
A solid recall can be life-saving. It is essential that your dog has A+ recall skills. When I call them, they respond. This is an absolute requirement for the safety of our pack and others.
Commands like sit, stay, come, and heel are essential for managing dogs in group settings. Obeying basic commands establishes a foundation for good behavior and helps your dog learn to respond reliably, even in the excitement of pack hikes.
Your dog should be comfortable around other dogs and unfamiliar situations and people to ensure a harmonious and safe experience. This helps your dog learn to interact appropriately and reduces the likelihood of anxiety or aggression in new situations.
Excellent skills with loose leash walking without pulling or becoming overly reactive is crucial. While dogs will be mostly running free off leash, there are times when we need to be leashed - like in a parking lot where safety is a priority.
The ability to remain calm in varying environments, including in the car or in unfamiliar situations or while encountering other dogs, people or wildlife. It is especially helpful when experiencing unexpected events on the trail.
The health and safety of the pack is of primary concern to me. All dogs who participate in pack hikes or boarding must be neutered and be up to date on the following vaccinations: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvovirus (DHPP), Rabies, Canine Influenza & Bordetella. Dogs must be currently protected by both flea & tick medications. Vet records are required for participation.
